Ruling 1238 — Prayer (Ṣalāh)

If a person forgets a few sajdahs – for example, he forgets one sajdah from the first rakʿah and another from the second – then after the prayer, he must make up both sajdahs. And the recommended precaution is that he should perform sajdatā al‑sahw for each forgotten sajdah.
