Ruling 1259 — Prayer (Ṣalāh)

If a person’s outward and return journey totals eight farsakhs, then even if he does not return on the same day or night, he must perform qaṣr prayers; however, it is better that in this case, as a recommended precaution, he also perform prayers in their complete (tamām) form.
