Ruling 2291 — Loan (Qarḍ)
It is not necessary to say a particular formula (ṣīghah) when giving a loan; rather, if one gives something to someone with the intention (niyyah) of giving a loan and the latter takes it with the same intention, it is valid (ṣaḥīḥ).
