Ruling 232 — Purification (Ṭahārah)

There is no problem in using the mouthpiece of a shisha pipe, the scabbard of a sword, a knife, or the frame of the Qur’an if they are made of silver or gold. However, the recommended precaution is not to use perfume and kohl containers made of gold or silver.
