Ruling 584 — Purification (Ṭahārah)
Ṣalāt al‑mayyit must be performed after giving ghusl, camphorating, and shrouding. If it is performed before or while performing these – albeit forgetfully or on account of not knowing the ruling – it is not sufficient.
